Either way, be prepared to explore a slice of the “Real Florida”. Bring your camera and binoculars for wildlife viewing. Registration is between 8am and 8:45am at the Ranger Station on a first-come, first-served basis on the day of the paddle.
Pets are not permitted on the paddle trip.

Join a park ranger for a hike, paddle, swim, or talk to learn more about the unique environment and history of Long Key! Program topics will vary depending on the time of year and interest of the participants. You could be observing the plants and animals along the Golden Orb Nature Trail, exploring the seagrass beds in the ocean shallows, identifying shorebirds on the sandbars, or paddling through the mangroves along the coastline. In each program, a ranger will teach you interesting new facts or useful skills. Please contact the ranger station to inquire about weekly program topics and details.
