Sponsored by the Hillsborough River State Park Preservation Society, this event includes the Haunted Trail, Coloring Contests, and Family Tram Ride (Tram runs Saturday Night ONLY!). Food and refreshments will be available and music will be filling the air. There will be a Costume Contest both nights. All ages - 6:00 pm - Prizes! It is a safe alternative to Trick-Or-Treating! Bring the whole family and come walk through our Haunted Woods for a scary, fun time.
Proceeds benefit the Hillsborough River State Park Preservation Society.

Haunted Moon Light Hike @ Mike Roess Gold Head Branch State Park

Mike Roess Gold Head Branch State Park will host its Annual Haunted Hike on Saturday, October 20th. Ticket sales will begin at 6:30 p.m. and end at 9:00 p.m. ($5 per ticket). Hike along a one mile haunted trail through the woods of Gold Head Branch. You never know what ghosts and goblins will come out to greet you. The hike will be scary so please use discretion in bringing young children. To ensure the safety of all participants, strollers and pets are prohibited on the trail. Food and drink will be available for purchase. For additional information, please call the Ranger Station at 352-473-4701.

Haunted Tram Rides @ Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park

Friday, October 26, 2018 - 6:00pm EDT to Saturday, October 27, 2018 - 10:00pm EDT

The suggested donation for the tram ride is $7.00 for adults (age 13 and over) and $3.00 for children up to age 12. A Haunted House will be set up in the Florida Room from 6:00 pm until 10:00 pm. The donation for admission to the Haunted House is $2.00 per person.

Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park and the Friends of Homosassa Springs Wildlife Park are busy planning and setting up for their annual Haunted Tram Rides community event scheduled for the evenings of Friday, October 26 and Saturday, October 27, 2018. The event will begin at 6:00 pm each evening, and run until 10:00 pm. Pepper Creek Trail will be transformed during these evenings into a trail of haunting scenarios that will delight families. This will be the fifteenth year the Friends of Homosassa Springs Wildlife Park will be holding the Haunted Tram Rides event which has attracted thousands of visitors each night. In addition to the Haunted Tram Rides, the event includes family fun such as Halloween costume contests and a Haunted House.

Haunted Village And Trail @ Dade Battlefield Historic State Park

The park will hosts its annual Haunted Village and Trail. Participants will get to visit both a haunted trail as well as a carnival village featuring sideshows. There will also be children games, and park sponsored food vendor.

In order to participate in this program, one:
• Must have the ability to withstand exposure to the outdoors for up to 2 1/2 hours.
• Must have the ability to traverse flat terrain of asphalt and/or grassy trails for up to one mile, independently or with the assistance of a companion.
• Must have the ability to follow visual and/or verbal instructions independently or with the assistance of a companion.
• Must have the ability to walk using only light from a flashlight.
