Join the Wekiva Wilderness Trust and The Florida Park Service in support of National Public Lands Day. We will be sprucing up the park from the busy summer by: picking up litter, cutting back walk-ways and clearing our new Serenity Garden of vegetation. Please bring loppers if you have them to help with the removal process. We will be meeting in the Interpretive Pavilion at the main use area for the start of this activity. Volunteers must bring/wear closed toed shoes, eye protection, gloves, sunscreen, hats, and bug repellent is highly recommended. Please bring a snack and plenty of water. Those who participate in this event will receive free admission for the day. We will have various interpretive programs and guided walking tours during the day. We look forward to having a wonderful day with volunteers in our beautiful park!  Wekiwa Springs State Park 1800 Wekiwa Circle Apopka, Florida (Located off Wekiwa springs road, five miles from SR 434 and three miles from SR 436)
