Learning about and purchasing native plants can be a daunting task, but it just got easier! The Coccoloba Chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society volunteers will be selling native plants at the Koreshan State Historic Site Farmers Market Sundays, 8:00am - 1 pm.  Experts will be on hand to help answer your questions and teach you about the wonderful benefits of adding native plants to your landscaping. Traditional Yoga class focuses on breathing, stretching and postures. Modifiable for all ages and levels of participants. Over time, this form of yoga will tone the body and focus the mind. Each practice will leave you relaxed, refreshed, and rejuvenated. Beginners welcome! Some mats provided. Bring a water bottle. $10 cash. Park admission FREE.

Join us for a Guided Walking Tour of the Historic Koreshan Settlement. Explore structures and gardens of the 19th century utopian settlement and learn about these idealistic pioneers. The walking tour is about an hour and a half and is accessible to all.

Additional Information:

Park admission is $2 for bicycle/pedestrian, $4 for one person in a vehicle, $5 for up to 8 persons in a vehicle. Walking tour lasts approximately 1 hour and is mostly outdoors on a crushed shell path. Please bring water, proper footware, and sun protection. Wheelchair available upon request.

Requests for these and other tours for clubs, home school associations, and other groups can be made by calling the Ranger Station at (239) 992-0311. We make every effort to accommodate all groups, however we may not be able to fulfill requests made with less than a two week notice.

Nature Program - Nature Hike @ Koreshan State Park

Tour is free with park entry: $5.00 per vehicle, limit 2-8 people per vehicle. $4.00 Single Occupant vehicle. $2.00 Pedestrians, bicyclists, extra passengers, passengers in vehicle with holder of Annual Individual Entrance Pass.

Join a park naturalist for a walk on the Nature Trails of Koreshan State Park. Learn some park history, history of the Estero river and find out about plants and critters that we meet along the way. Walk will begin at the Koreshan State Park picnic area near the kayak launch. Note: the walk will be approximately 1.8 miles long, the trail is uneven, has sand, grass and packed earth along the way. Bring water, hat and camera for pictures.
