Gamble Planation Car and Truck Show @ Judah P. Benjamin Confederate Memorial at Gamble Plantation Historic State Park

Sunday, February 25, 2018 - 10:00am to 3:00pm EST

Car entry is $15 pre-regrisration before 2/20/18 and $20 from 2/20/18 til day of show. There will be a suggested donation of $1.00 for parking for those not entering a car in the show.

Come and join us for the Gamble Plantation Car and Truck Show. This event is the largest classic car and truck show in the area and boast more than 250 cars. All event proceeds bennift SOLVE Maternity Homes and The Gamble Plantation Preservation Alliance. There will be Awards and Trophies, Door Prizes and 50/50 jack pot, Food Concession is provided by Holy Smokes BBQ and music by Lance's Cruzin To the Hop . Car entree fee is $15.00 if registered before 2/20/2018 and $20.00 after the 20th. For registration or to be a sponsor call Mike 941-730-7694 or Lance 941-371-1061.

In order to participate in this program, one:

Must have the ability to follow visual and/or verbal instructions independently or with the assistance of a companion.

Must have the ability to withstand exposure to the outdoors for a period of 90 minutes or more.

Must have the ability to traverse uneven terrain for up to 60 yards.

For first floor tours must have either the ability to traverse a wood ramp at an incline of 5 degrees for 8 feet or climb 2 stairs 6 inches high and a tread width of 11 inches; independently or with assistance of a companion.

For tours on the second floor; must have the ability to climb 17 stairs that are 7 inches high and tread width of 11 inches; independently or with the assistance of a companion.

For the Car show and crafts exhibits, one must have the ability to traverse manicured lawn for up to 150 yards.

58th Annual Gamble Plantation Spring Open House with an Authentic Civil War Encampment. There will be food, music, period dress costumes and uniforms, civil war field equipment and much more! Good fun for the whole family with free tours of the Mansion. Sponsored by the United Daughters of the Confederacy.

Gamble Plantation Spring Open House Tour Essential Eligibility Criteria

Must have the ability to traverse uneven terrain for up to 100 yards.

For first floor tours must have either the ability to traverse a wood ramp at an incline of 5 degrees for 8 feet or climb 2 stairs 6 inches high and a treadwidth of 11 inches; independently or with assistance of a companion.

For second floor tours must have the ability to climb 17 stairs that are7 inches high and treadwidth of 11 inches; independently or with the assistance of a companion.
