Collectors from all across the area will gather at Stephen Foster to display antiques, unique art and collectibles. Come enjoy a variety of collections of teapots, linens, furniture, dolls, silver, farm equipment and more. Spend time visiting with the collectors to learn about their different items and how they started collecting.

There will be no set-up fee for collectors. Selling of items will not be permitted.

This three day event offers participants in-depth instruction in old time music techniques on the banjo, guitar, and fiddle for all levels. Concerts will be held on Friday and Saturday evenings in the park auditorium at 7:00 p.m. Friday evening is the Florida Masters Concert and Saturday evening is the Instructor’s Showcase.

Additional Information:

A spouse program is also offered for just $85.00 and includes two concerts, jams and all meals.

Tickets for public admission to the concerts are $10.00.

$199.00 registration includes all workshops, jam sessions, discussion groups, concerts and meals.

Throughout the park you will enjoy boutiques, quilting supply vendors, demonstrations, lectures, door prizes, food and more.

We are also looking for kids that have a quilt they would like to enter. Please enter all quilts by October 09, 2015.

Buses are welcomed. Register your group bus and we will have goodie bags with door prizes ready for you upon arrival.

Demonstrators will be on hand showcasing Florida traditions of yesterday and today during this three-day event. Rural Folklife Days celebrates the region’s rural past with demonstrations and hands-on learning activities. Visitors can taste jellies, play traditional games, churn butter, sing songs, hear storytelling, quilt on a frame, taste sugar cane, assist a blacksmith, learn about lye soap, watch demonstrations of old-fashioned cane grinding and learn to fish. This event is a long-standing tradition at the Stephen Foster Folk Culture Center State Park, for decades students have enjoyed field trips to the park to experience this event. Schools are encouraged to attend this event and pre-register.
