Description

Discover Gold Head State Park in a brand new light in which its never been seen. Join a ranger led hike through 4 different ecosystems, learning more about how all of these natural processes come into play. This hike will put minimal backpackers to the test whether just getting started and squaring away your gear, or experts looking for a new trail.

Hikers will travel along the Florida Trail around the park stumbling upon sinkhole lakes, flora and fauna along the way. Camp out under the stars, and weather permitting, learn about a few of the celestial bodies in the night sky. Then set out on a morning hike off trail with a ranger. Call the ranger station for more information about the hike.
