Description

National Public Lands Day coincides with World Rivers Day and people around the world will be exploring biodiversity along their home rivers!

On the Crystal River, we will observe biodiversity from Crystal River Preserve State Park to Three Sisters Springs and everywhere in between. Participants can collect photos and sound recordings walking along the river, hiking a trail, and/or on a boat.

Visit the area and use iNaturalist to observe anytime during Sept. 22 and 24, 2023, and the observations will be added as part of the project! Sign up today! The data you collect will help contribute to global diversity lists and helps us manage your lands for the species we find!
