Description

Take a guided tour with one of our knowledgeable park rangers and make the most out of your trip. This 1-hour tour will lead guests through the hardwood hammock and an ancient coral reef. Guests will learn how to tell poisonwood from pigeon plum while searching for the elusive white crowned pigeon. While walking through the fossilized coral reef, your guide will help to identify fossils in the quarry walls. Guests will also learn how the limestone substrate was quarried to be used in the construction of Flagler's Railroad and later turned into decorative stones for building facades. This tour is suitable for all ages and is less than .5 miles long. A power driven mobility device is available upon request.
