This project sponsored by The Wekiva Wilderness Trust, a non-profit, volunteer citizen support organization tasked with supporting the three Florida State Parks that together are the Wekiva River Basin State Parks.

Additional volunteers are always welcome and appreciated! Join the Wekiva Wilderness Trust and The Florida Park Service in support of National Public Lands Day.

We will be sprucing up the park from the busy summer by: Picking up litter, cutting back walk-ways. Please bring loppers if you have them to help with the removal process. We will be meeting in the Interpretive Pavilion at the main use area for the start of this activity. Volunteers must bring/wear closed-toed shoes, eye protection, gloves, sunscreen, hats and bug repellent are highly recommended.

Please bring a snack and plenty of water. Those who participate in this event will receive free admission for the day. We will have various interpretive programs and guided walking tours during the day. We look forward to having a wonderful day with volunteers in our beautiful park!
