Participate in a national effort to rid the highly invasive bamboo from along park trails and day use area. Please join the park rangers on Saturday, September 22, 2018 as part of National Public Lands Day. This first magnitude spring is well known for its cooling, crystal clear water that is 72 degrees year round!
Volunteers will have free entry to the park on the day of the cleanup and are encouraged to stay and enjoy a dip in the pristine waters of Madison Blue. We will meet in the back parking area of Madison Blue Spring State Park at 9 a.m. for orientation and brief talk about Madison Blue Spring history. Bring sturdy gloves and drinking water. Sunscreen and bug spray are also highly recommended.
