Key Biscayne FL 33149

Base in Pavilion D-17, Picnic Area D

Free entry for volunteers. Please identify yourselves at the front gate ranger station.

For National Public Lands Day, volunteers will gather in the park to help clean and prep the park's paved multi-use trail in anticipation of the annual Haunted Hike in early October.

Participants will remove loose asphalt, pick up litter, and trim and clear on both sides of the trail.

  • Please bring your own Gardener's gloves and the park will supply trash pick up sticks, tools and ice water.
  • Plan to bring a refillable water bottle to reduce plastic waste.
  • This is a big yearly fundraiser for the Friends of Cape Florida, Inc., a 501c3 organization formed to support park programs and volunteers.
