Pre-purchase of tickets is required at Friends-of-Savannas.square.site. $2 ticket is good for one person for one timeslot. Maximum of 35 participants per timeslot. Be prepared to provide the name on your reservation upon arrival; entire party must arrive together. Tickets are non-refundable for any reason. Children ages 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Price of activity bags is not included with event entry fee.

Description

Take a step back in time during the 12th Annual Pioneer Day Festival, sponsored by the Friends of Savannas Preserve State Park. Explore how people lived in mid-19th century Florida. Event will be split into two timeslots: 10 a.m. to noon and 1 to 3 p.m. with the same activities during both timeslots, including demonstration booths, an outdoor mini museum and a self-guided hike. Pioneer Project Activity Bags with wood spinning tops, a corn husk doll and more are available for pre-purchase at $5 at Friends-of-Savannas.square.site (recommended for ages 6 and up). Masks are required; visitors are expected to maintain distances of at least six feet apart.
