Crane enthusiasts Wanda Easton and Jo-Anne Bellemer will present an informative program about the rarest cranes in the world: whooping cranes. The one-hour program will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 20 in the Florida Room at the park's Visitor Center on U.S. 19. Both presenters have an extensive background working with whooping cranes, including hand-rearing releasable chicks, public education, and in-flight participation with Operation Migration. Learn about conservation efforts and how you can help these unique birds. For more information, contact the State Park at 352-628-5343.
