Description

Come out for a science panel discussion with Dr. Tiffany Troxler, Paola Ferreira, Mariana Boldu and Jennie Rogers. Miami is on the front line of climate change and sea level rise impacts. Mitigation and adaptation are both needed to tackle the challenging issues at hand. There is an unprecedented opportunity to change our professional practices in a way that fosters a more resilient future — one rooted in science, interdisciplinary team collaboration and strategic partnerships. This course will give participants the tools to facilitate change and undertake positive action toward reversing climate projections; craft a common, resilient way into the future; and influence others to do the same. The gate opens an hour before the program begins.
