FOOD TRUCKS FOR BIRDS ON THE MIGRATION HIGHWAY
Migrating birds take the Atlantic Flyway through Florida twice a year, flying south or flying north. Tricia Keffer, founder of the non-profit organization, Food Trucks for Birds, will describe how bird gardens, "Food Trucks," can be planted in Florida Keys yards to provide native plants as food for migrating birds. She will also explain how shelters and bird spa baths can be implemented in the landscape to make an important stopover as birds travel between North and South America.
