Join park staff and volunteers on a walk through the rich history of Camp Helen. Learn about the early indigenous people who occupied this land, all the way through to the 1920s when the land was developed as a home for the Hicks family and later turned into a summer retreat for Avondale Textile mill employees and their families. Depending upon availability, there will be the opportunity to go inside some of the historic structures. Wear comfortable shoes and clothing.
