Join us for a celebration of the Florida State Parks 85th anniversary at Troy Spring State Park

As vital outdoor recharging places for their local communities, our spring parks are essential to the identity of north central Florida. For generations people have gathered to swim, dive or just look at the crystal-clear 72 degree waters that give life to this region. Now it is time to celebrate that legacy, and join with the Florida Park Service in protecting it into the future! A number of your local state parks will be represented at this event taking place from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., including Lafayette Blue Springs, Wes Skiles Peacock Springs, the Suwannee River Wilderness Trail and Troy Spring State Park. Each one of these parks are celebrating birthdays as Florida State Parks, as well as the 85th anniversary of the Florida Park Service. Please join us for this fun family day of activities that will include swimming, nature hikes, interpretive programs and much more.
