Come out and help the Oleta Trail Blazer mountain bike group as they volunteer to help improve the mountain biking trails in the park. Volunteering with this group includes but is not limited to cutting small exotic trees, adding dirt to trails, repairing ramps and bridges, building new features to the trail, trimming back vegetation and much more! if you love to ride in Oleta River State Park and also want to help make the park even better, we hope to see you at a volunteer day in the future! Tools and equipment will be provided by the park.
Please wear proper shoes and safe clothing for outdoor physical activity.

Come visit our Junior Ranger table on Sunday from 9:30 am to 2:00 pm
Learn how to become a Junior Ranger and join us for lots of cool nature activities! We will be doing critter coloring pages, native vs. invasive plants, and wildlife watching throughout the day. These activities are welcome for all ages, however the Junior Ranger program is usually appropriate for children aged 6 and up. Participants can complete the Junior Ranger CORE activities, collect passport stamps, and earn an official Junior Ranger badge, patch, or pin!
No reservation required. Meet at the table under the right side of the Millhopper's visitor center.

Come enjoy local and visiting musicians perform acoustic music in a scenic area near the springs. Instruments usually include a banjo, guitar, fiddle, upright bass, and accordion. They may vary from month to month. Feel free to bring your own instrument and join in or just listen and enjoy. Hand claps and foot taps welcome!

Music in the Park: Summer Concert Series with King Eddie, Pili Pili @ Anastasia State ParkSunday, August 19, 2018 - 5:00pm to 8:00pm EDT
This exciting music concert is free with paid park admission. Regular park admission is $8 per vehicle with 2-8 occupants, $4 per single-occupant vehicle, and $2 for pedestrians and bicyclists. This event is weather permitting and subject to cancellation.

As one of North Florida’s favorite beach culture pastimes for over 30 years, King Eddie with Pili Pili's brand of Caribbean beats and calypso rhythms, combined with a blues and rock attitude, continue to inspire mass celebration.
Anastasia State Park is hosting a summer concert series in partnership with Cape Leisure. Each concert will begin with a jam session from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. located at the Island Beach Grill inside the park. Each month will feature a different local musician or band for a two-hour show at our beach pavilion from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Limited seating is available, please bring chairs for your comfort. All ages welcome.
Come enjoy a beautiful evening at Anastasia State Park, delicious food and drink specials from Island Beach Grill, and a wide variety of music from featured musicians.

Event is free. This event is NOT inside the park. It is outside the park at various locations throughout Walton County, Florida. Check the Friends of Topsail Hill Preserve State Park's Facebook page for clues on the location of the gift.
Join Topsail Hill Preserve State Park as it celebrates its twentieth birthday of being a Florida State Park in 2018. To celebrate, the park is giving away twenty presents. On the 20th of each month, starting in February, there will be one or two gift(s) hidden somewhere in Walton County, Florida for people to find. Hints about where the gift is hidden will be posted on the Facebook page of the Friends of Topsail Hill Preserve State Park that day until the gift is found. The first person to arrive at the location where the gift is will get to take it home with them. There will also be a Birthday Party in August as part of the Sea Turtle Baby Shower event that month so stay tuned for more information.
