Topsail Hill Preserve State Park and the Indian Temple Mound Museum on August 17, 2018 from 10:00a.m. - 11:00a.m. Come learn about Native Americans that have called the Florida Panhandle home and their way of life. This program is free with regular park admission. Topsail Talks is a monthly educational discovery series with presentations from organizations and government agencies from outside the park. Future dates and topics are "Microplastics and Plastic Pollution" by Dr. Laura Tiu with Florida Sea Grant on September 21 and "Coastal Dune Lakes" by the Choctawhatchee Basin Alliance on October 19.

Kid's Corner - Environmental Activities @ Gilchrist Blue Springs State ParkFriday, August 17, 2018 - 10:00am to 2:00pm EDT
Free with park admission ($6/vehicle with up to 8 people or $4/single occupant vehicle)
Join us at Gilchrist Blue Springs State Park for interactive kid's activities! From 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. children can complete the Junior Ranger CORE activities, collect passport stamps and earn an official Junior Ranger badge, patch or pin! Junior Ranger activities are appropriate for children aged 6 and up, but we will also have critter coloring pages available for all ages as well as an EnviroScape demonstration that teaches kids how watersheds work and what we can do to protect our precious water and springs.
