Take a 90-minute paddle around one of the islands that comprise Curry Hammock State Park. This ranger-led tour will give you an appreciation for the fragility of the nearshore ecosystem. You will see some of the damage man has caused and learn of the ongoing effort to preserve this valuable resource.
Tours are limited to six kayaks. Visitors should bring their own or rent from the park.

Corn was a very important crop grown in may farms. Corn husks were plentiful and children learned how to create flowers with these husks. Come out to the farm and create your very own corn husk flower.

Join us in discovering the wonderful sea turtles of Anastasia State Park! You will learn about how we identify the turtle nests, hatching, and the great journey they begin after leaving the beach and the dangers they encounter in our oceans. This is a fun filled, energetic program about these miraculous animals who have been on Earth for millions of years! This program will take place at the Sea Turtle Pavilion near the Island Beach Grill.
