Nature Trail Walk @ Curry Hammock State ParkTuesday, July 17, 2018 - 8:00am to 12:00pm EDT

Join a Ranger for a one-hour guided walk along our moderately difficult, 1.5-mile hiking trail. Come out and enjoy a leisurely stroll through our rockland hammock and take in the flora and fauna of the Florida Keys. Along the way, you will gain an appreciation for the difficulties plants and animals face in the sub-tropical ecosystem.
Bug spray, drinking water and closed-toed shoes or hiking boots are recommended.
The narrow trail limits the walk to twelve people, therefore reservations are recommended.

Cost is $40/child for 5 sessions or $10/day, ages 8 - 12.
Nature Days Camp program that includes daily programs on birds, reptiles and amphibians, plants, insects and spiders and mammals. Program includes walks, games, crafts and daily snacks.

Join us for a guided exploration of MacArthur Beach State Park daily at 10:00 a.m. Meet in front of the Park's Nature Center.
Bring a water bottle, sunscreen and insect repellant.
Scavenger Hunt @ Fort Cooper State ParkTuesday, July 17, 2018 - 5:30pm to 6:30pm EDT
Park entrance is $3/vehicle (2-8 people)
Come join us for a scavenger hunt. You will be given clues on where to find different things while you explore Fort Cooper State Park. You will collect each rock and bring them back to show the Park ranger and claim your prize! All ages are welcome. We will meet at the pavilion at 5:30 p.m. We recommend you bring water, bug spray, sunscreen, hat or visor, camera and binoculars.
