Welcome to the NEW Camp Wildlife led by Cape Leisure at Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park! This year's summer camp is better than ever! We're now offering five full days of fun-filled camp with plenty to see and do, including, special animal experiences, animal meal preparation, wildlife hospital and manatee rehabilitation facility tours, hand-on activities, crafts and more. This event includes camp t-shirts, lunch, water and snacks. Two camp sessions will be held from 9 am to 5 pm: June 18-22 for 8-10 year olds and July 16-20 for 11-12 year olds. Registration is required. Fort Cooper State Park will be offering Beginners Birding Classes on July 12th, 13th and 16th from 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM. Birding is a treasure hunt - you never know what exciting gems you will find. Bird watching is both fun and educational and takes you to places you might never go otherwise. No experience is necessary; simply patience, enthusiasm, and a love of nature.
