4Ocean environmental group whose Mission statement is: "Cleaning the Oceans and Coastlines one pound at a time." is partnering with Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park to host a cleanup of the Park centered around No Name Harbor and our fishing platforms,4Ocean will provide 10 tandem kayaks and guides for the water portion of the clean up with a partnership with Expedition South Florida. They will provide all cleaning supplies as well as t-shirts and recycled glass bead bracelets to all participants. There will be a trail cleanup of the north side of the Harbor as well as a water based cleanup of the mangroves and fishing platforms. We ask that all participants bring a re-fillable water bottle (ice water jugs will be set up for refills), wear closed toe shoes, bring sunscreen and a hat. Snacks will be provided during and after the cleanup at Pavilion H19.

Experience St. Lucie Inlet Preserve State Park by way of kayak. This is a unique opportunity to visit one of Florida's magnificent barrier islands. You will paddle through mangrove lined creeks and visit a pristine, undeveloped beach. Your guide will point out various plant and animal species, including some that are rare or endangered, as well as providing insight into the management activities used at the park. Visitors of all ages and skill levels are welcome. The tour is approximately 3 hours long.

Free with park entry fee of $2.00.

Kayak Rentals: $26.50 for single, $37.10 for double.

Reservations are required, please contact Park office (772) 219-1880.

What to bring: drinking water, snacks, sunscreen and bug repellent.

No pets or alcoholic beverages are allowed.
