Eco Adventure Days is a fun and educational way for your child to discover the amazing diversity of Florida’s natural resources. Campers will learn about the diverse habitats of Ravine Gardens State Park, conduct scientific experiments in a fun environment, and even work on projects at the park like a real park ranger! This three day event will be filled with learning objectives and corresponding activities, games, and crafts!

We are happy to announce that this year we will be providing camp for a variety of age groups! We will hold three camp sessions, each catering to a different age group.
- Completing Kindergarten - 1st Grades - Wednesday, June 13 - Friday June 15, 2018
- Completing 2nd - 5th Grades - Wednesday, June 27 - Friday, June 29, 2018
- Completing 6th - 8th Grades - Wednesday, July 11 - Friday, July 13, 2018
When registering, please select the correct session based on the grade that your child will be completing/completed during the 2017/2018 school year.
For all sessions: Drop-off starts at 7:30 a.m. with camp starting at 8:00am. Pick-up will be at 2:00 p.m.
The summer camp is $30 per child per session. This includes all activities and instruction for the week, as well as snacks. Campers will need to provide their own lunch. Camp fees benefit the Friends of Ravine Gardens, who supply all of the materials for the summer camp.
All parents/guardians must complete a registration packet for each child attending. It will be sent to the email address you provide while purchasing your ticket. Please complete and email it back to email@example.com or fax it to the office at 386-329-3718. You can register in person or drop packets off at 1600 Twigg St. Palatka, Florida 32177 Tuesday - Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm. Please call 386-329-3721 with any questions.
The camp is limited to 30 students and will be filled on a first come, first served basis. If the camp is sold out please call the office at 386-329-3721 to be put on the waitlist.
Three scholarships per camp session will be awarded to those that show need. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to request a scholarship. Please include parent's name, contact information, camper's name, grade that he or she is finishing and a short paragraph explaining why you would like the scholarship. Scholarship requests will be awarded on a first come, first served basis. All scholarship requests must be submitted by 4:00pm the Friday prior to the camp session's start date:
- K-1st Grade due June 8, 2018 at 4:00pm
- 2nd - 5th Grade due June 22, 2018 at 4:00pm
- 6th - 8th Grade due July 6, 2018 at 4:00pm
After the due date, the three spots saved for scholarship winners will be opened to those on the waitlist if not awarded.

Kid's Corner - Environmental Activities @ Gilchrist Blue Springs State ParkFriday, June 29, 2018 - 10:00am to 2:00pm EDT

Join us at Gilchrist Blue Springs State Park for interactive kid's activities! From 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. children can complete the Junior Ranger CORE activities, collect passport stamps and earn an official Junior Ranger badge, patch or pin! Junior Ranger activities are appropriate for children aged 6 and up, but we will also have critter coloring pages available for all ages as well as an EnviroScape demonstration that teaches kids how watersheds work and what we can do to protect our precious water and springs.

Come enjoy a ranger led campfire program about local night birds that appear at Mikes Roess Gold Head Branch State Park. We'll meet at the large pavilion at 7:45 pm. You'll learn a little about the local night birds found in our park. There will be a small campfire to cozy up to and you'll get a chance to listen for the night birds yourself.
Sea Turtle Talk And Walk Registration @ John D. MacArthur Beach State ParkFriday, June 29, 2018 - 8:00pm EDT to Saturday, June 30, 2018 - 12:00am EDT

Each June and July MacArthur Beach State Park offers evening turtle walks so that visitors can have a chance at viewing loggerhead sea turtles laying their eggs. This ancient ritual is a sight not to be missed! Turtle Walks fill up quickly so be sure to register early. The Walk schedule starts on June 4, 2018 and runs through July 13, 2018 (M, W, & F with the exception of June 8, 22 and July 4). Registration launches on May 29 at 9 a.m. Registration will be online and sold as "tickets" through www.macarthurbeach.org Price is $12.00 per ticket, non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by Park staff. The event is for adults and children 12 years old and up.
