Join a Ranger for a one-hour guided walk along our moderately difficult, 1.5-mile hiking trail. Come out and enjoy a leisurely stroll through our rockland hammock and take in the flora and fauna of the Florida Keys. Along the way, you will gain an appreciation for the difficulties plants and animals face in the sub-tropical ecosystem.
Bug spray, drinking water and closed-toed shoes or hiking boots are recommended.
The narrow trail limits the walk to twelve people, therefore reservations are recommended.
Dade Craft: Recycling men's ties/dyeing on silk scarves @ Dade Battlefield Historic State ParkTuesday, May 8, 2018 - 10:00am to 12:00pm EDT
Cost is $3/vehicle park entrance fee or Annual Florida Park Pass plus activity fee $5/person for ages 13 and up.
Participants will take men's silk ties and imprint the tie pattern on plain silk scarves to make a beautiful hand-crafted silk scarf.

Join a Park Naturalist to learn a variety of tackle and fresh bait rigs, find out the best places to drop a line, and learn about the rules and regulations that pertain to game fishing in Southwest Florida. You might even learn a few of the “secrets” our local fishermen swear by. Due to limited space, reservations are required.
