Highland Hammock’s Music in the Park series features two more great concerts this spring!  T.C. Carr and the Bolts of Blue will make their first appearance at the park on April 28. “Harmonica Man” singer, songwriter and Florida native, T.C. Carr, is well known for his strong lead vocals and virtuoso harp work.  He has performed throughout the U.S. and Europe and established a reputation as one of Florida’s best Blues artists. With Josh Nelms on the guitar together with the other members of the band, T.C. Carr and the Bolts of Blue will provide an evening of highly original American Blues and Roots music. www.tccarr.com.

Rick Arnold will close out the series on May 5, with a rollicking good night of the best country music, both classic and contemporary, and some favorite rock-in-roll oldies from the 1960s and 70s. Rick is known for playing great guitar and harmonica. This former native of Eastern Kentucky called Nashville “home” for 25 years. Having worked with Hank Williams, Jr., he is famously known for penning “Hog Wild” and “The Farm Song.” For more information about Rick Arnold, visit http://www.rickarnold.com.

Additional Information:

Music in the Park concerts are sponsored by the Friends of Highlands Hammock State Park, Inc.  Concert proceeds benefit park improvements via the Friends.  Bring blankets, lawn chairs, and flashlights and enjoy an evening of music under the stars.  Campers and day visitors attending the Music in the Park series are advised that dogs and golf carts are not permitted at concerts.  The Hammock Inn concession and other food vendors will be open.  For participation requirements, please review EEC MUSIC IN THE PARK CONCERTS.
