Spring is here and that means the trees are starting to change color. No, not the leaves – the birds! Spring is a time of migration for lots of colorful songbirds and if you’re as excited about that as we are then we hope you will join us for our Birds in Blue event: a 2-hour tour of the park with our resident bird expert, Ranger Jim. Florida is a special place for birding and each season brings new surprises! Whether you’re a novice birdwatcher or an avid birder this event is for you. You’ll learn tips from an expert on birding by ear, birding “at a glance”, where and when to find the birds you’re looking for, and how to identify the many migrants that can be found in Florida.
