Take a leisurely one-mile walk over the estuary and along the beach with a Park Naturalist to discover what kind of natural treasures wash up on the shores of Lovers Key State Park. Learn about seashells, crustaceans, starfish and other creatures that can be found in our waters. Come prepared to get wet. Due to limited space, reservations are required.

There is no fee for participation in this program, but all donations are appreciated and will be given to the Friends of Paynes Prairie to directly support the yoga program. A donation box specifically for the Prairie Yoga Program will be available during the class for anyone who would like to make a donation.

Yoga and Meditation with Kim Holton in the Paynes Prairie Visitor Center overlooking the prairie. A beautiful place to relax and unwind from the day.
This dynamic class will vary each week but always start with a half hour to 45 minutes of postures and movement appropriate for all levels, and end with 15-30 minutes of guided meditation. Longer meditations will always be done lying down. If you love to feel good, relax and enjoy the beauty of the prairie, this class is for you. Open to all levels of experience. If you have a mat or blanket, please bring one with you.

Join Topsail Hill Preserve State Park as it celebrates its twentieth birthday of being a Florida State Park in 2018. To celebrate, the park is giving away twenty presents. On the 20th of each month, starting in February, there will be one or two gift(s) hidden somewhere in Walton County, Florida for people to find. Hints about where the gift is hidden will be posted on the Facebook page of the Friends of Topsail Hill Preserve State Park that day until the gift is found. The first person to arrive at the location where the gift is will get to take it home with them. There will also be a Birthday Party in August as part of the Sea Turtle Baby Shower event that month so stay tuned for more information.
