Join a Ranger for a one-hour guided walk along our moderately difficult, 1.5-mile hiking trail. Come out and enjoy a leisurely stroll through our rockland hammock and take in the flora and fauna of the Florida Keys. Along the way, you will gain an appreciation for the difficulties plants and animals face in the sub-tropical ecosystem.
Bug spray, drinking water and closed-toed shoes or hiking boots are recommended.
The narrow trail limits the walk to twelve people, therefore reservations are recommended.

Join a Park Naturalist to learn a variety of tackle and fresh bait rigs, find out the best places to drop a line, and learn about the rules and regulations that pertain to game fishing in Southwest Florida. You might even learn a few of the “secrets” our local fishermen swear by. Due to limited space, reservations are required.

Program is free with park entry: $5.00 per vehicle, limit 2-8 people per vehicle. $4.00 single occupant vehicle. $2.00 pedestrians, bicyclists, extra passengers, passengers in vehicle with holder of Annual Individual Entrance Pass.

Join a Park Naturalist for a walk on the nature trails of Koreshan State Park. Learn some park history, history of the Estero River and find out about plants and critters that we meet along the way. Walk will begin at the Koreshan State Park picnic area near the kayak launch. Note: the walk will be approximately 1.8 miles long, the trail is uneven, has sand, grass and packed earth along the way. Bring water, hat and camera for pictures.

Bring your bicycles and join Ameri-Corps Volunteer Amy on a 4-mile bike ride through the park. This is a leisurely ride and all ages are encouraged to attend. There will be frequent stops along the way to see and learn about the park's attractions.
Meet in the Environmental Interpretive Center parking lot. Participants age 16 and under must wear a bicycle helmet.
