Learning about and purchasing native plants can be a daunting task, but it just got easier! The Coccoloba Chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society volunteers will be selling native plants at the Koreshan State Historic Site Farmers Market Sundays, 8:00am - 1 pm. Experts will be on hand to help answer your questions and teach you about the wonderful benefits of adding native plants to your landscaping. Visit the gardens at Silver Springs State Park, on the 2nd Sunday of each month, for our Garden Tour. Join a park ranger for information about the gardens' history, learn about the different seasonal flowers and blooms, as well as about pollinators like hummingbirds and butterflies. The tour passes through the following gardens: Courtyard Garden, Crossroads Garden, Camellia Garden, Fire & Water Garden, and the tour ends at the Wildflower Garden. After the tour, visitors are free to continue exploring the garden pathways and trails or walk back along the river.
Enter the park through the main entrance located at 5656 East Silver Springs Boulevard (State Road 40).
