Join a Ranger for a one-hour guided walk along our moderately difficult, 1.5-mile hiking trail. Come out and enjoy a leisurely stroll through our rockland hammock and take in the flora and fauna of the Florida Keys. Along the way, you will gain an appreciation for the difficulties plants and animals face in the sub-tropical ecosystem.

Additional Information:

Bug spray, drinking water and closed-toed shoes or hiking boots are recommended.

The narrow trail limits the walk to twelve people, therefore reservations are recommended.

Nature Program - Manatees and Dolphins @ Koreshan State Park

Join a Park Naturalist in the Art Hall of the Koreshan State Park for a talk on manatees and dolphins. These creatures that are fun to watch and are extremely interesting! The discussion will touch on behaviors, anatomy, fun facts, and the differences between the two species. Pictures of manatees and dolphins will be shared, as well as advice regarding human interaction and viewing locations will be suggested. There will be time after the talk for questions and clarification.
