Wear comfortable shoes and wake up with a morning exercise session led by Kate Isles! Exercises do not require participants to sit or lay down and program is considered accessible. Located in the Screen Room by the Nature Center.

$30 per person, (2 people per canoe), plus park entry fee of $5.00 up to 8 people in your car or $4.00 for a single occupant.

Join park staff for a guided 4 mile paddle.

We stop 3 to 5 times to talk about the plants, animals, the park, and Seminole Indians history of the area.

Ages 12 and up.

$30 per person, (2 people per canoe), plus park entry fee of $5.00 up to 8 people in your car or $4.00 for a single occupant.

Registration is required.

Canoe, life jackets, whistles and paddles are provided.

Wear: Comfortable clothing, your shoes could get wet.

Bring: Water, bug spray, sunscreen, sunglasses, dry bag, hat and a light jacket.

There is no place to get out of the canoe once the trip starts, so a restroom stop is wise just before the trip. A restroom is located in the picnic area in the boat basin.

9:00 am - Meet at the Ranger Station to make payment and then proceed to the boat basin/canoe launch area.

9:15 am – Be at the boat basin/canoe launch for introduction and review of paddling strokes and safety tips.

9:30 am – Canoe Trip starts.

12:30 pm - Canoe Trip ends.

Yoga on the Gazebo at Lovers Key State Park @ Lovers Key State Park

The Friends of Lovers Key (FOLKS) and the Naples Yoga Center (NYC) offer Monday morning yoga at the gazebo at Lovers Key through April. Your participation helps to fund the future Welcome and Discovery Center, as a portion of the class fee will be donated to the FOLKS.

Bring a yoga mat, water, and any props you may need. Be sure to give yourself time to park, and take the tram down to the gazebo.

Firefly Takeover At Blue Spring State Park @ Blue Spring State Park

Come take a guided tour to see the fireflies light up the Blue Spring sky. The park will extend closing time by one hour to visitors who would like to experience the hundreds of fireflies that visit this time of year.

To participate, please be in the park at least 30 minutes before closing. Obtain an After-Hours parking permit and Event Ticket. The meeting location will be on the Thursby House lawn.

Additional Information:

Be prepared to walk one mile for this event.

Dress appropriately for the weather, this is an outdoor activity.

Bring a flashlight for before and after the event.

Be prepared for mosquitos.

Join Topsail Hill Preserve State Park as it celebrates its twentieth birthday of being a Florida State Park in 2018.  To celebrate, the park is giving away twenty presents.  On the 20th of each month, starting in February, there will be one or two gift(s) hidden somewhere in Walton County, Florida for people to find.  Hints about where the gift is hidden will be posted on the Facebook page of the Friends of Topsail Hill Preserve State Park that day until the gift is found.   The first person to arrive at the location where the gift is will get to take it home with them.  There will also be a Birthday Party in August as part of the Sea Turtle Baby Shower event that month so stay tuned for more information.
