Learning about and purchasing native plants can be a daunting task, but it just got easier! The Coccoloba Chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society volunteers will be selling native plants at the Koreshan State Historic Site Farmers Market Sundays, 8:00am - 1 pm.  Experts will be on hand to help answer your questions and teach you about the wonderful benefits of adding native plants to your landscaping. Dade's Battle includes battle reenactment of the beginning of the Second Seminole War on December 28th, 1835 at 2 pm each day.  Other activities include period soldier, Seminole and civilian camps, sutler trade fair, historic arts and crafts demonstrations, full scale cannon firing, tree cutting and barricade building and 19th century games and activities for children.

Join the weekly eagle watch and see how our pair of nesting bald eagles are doing. High-powered scope and trail maps are provided. Comfortable shoes, camera and binoculars are suggested. Located at the eagle viewing station along the Green Trail. Note: There is a 20-minute, self-guided walk to the eagle viewing station.
