Welcome to "Dirty Fridays" at Topsail Hill Preserve State Park! Here is a wonderful, low-key volunteer opportunity to get a little dirty on the First Friday of every month while helping to beautify the park grounds! Projects include working in the butterfly garden, driveway medians and other fun landscape features that make Topsail one of a kind! Bring some water, gloves, insect repellent and a lunch to enjoy afterwards! Garden groups are always welcome to share in the fun!

Join Topsail Hill Preserve State Park for “Pruning Properly” presented by Master Gardener, Bill Kuenstler, on January 5, 2018 at 8:15a.m. Learn how to maintain your garden and landscaping in the winter months so they will flourish in the spring. If you recognize the date as the Dirty Friday first Friday of the month, you are right it is. The Dirty Friday volunteers are hosting the program and hope that you will join them!  Program is free with regular park admission. For more information about this program please call 850-267-8330.

Dirty Friday is 8a.m. – 10a.m. on the first Friday of each month. It is an opportunity for people to help with beautifications in the park. If receive emails about park volunteer opportunities like Dirty Friday or other park programs, projects or events please sign up here

Moon Over the Mounds @ Crystal River Archaeological State Park

This event is a torch lit tour of the Crystal River site led by professional interpretive guides through the moonlit Crystal River Archaeological State Park. This site is a world-famous pre-Columbian ceremonial center on Florida's west coast. Travel back in time to experience the park under the full moon to learn what life was like living on the Crystal River from 500 BC to AD 950. 

The Moon over the Mounds tours will begin at the Park Museum building at 8:00 p.m. and end at approximately 9:30 p.m. Suggested donations of $5.00 per person will be applied to sustaining future interpretive programming in the park.
