Join a Ranger for a one-hour guided walk along our moderately difficult, 1.5-mile hiking trail. Come out and enjoy a leisurely stroll through our rockland hammock and take in the flora and fauna of the Florida Keys. Along the way, you will gain an appreciation for the difficulties plants and animals face in the sub-tropical ecosystem.
Bug spray, drinking water and closed-toed shoes or hiking boots are recommended.
The narrow trail limits the walk to twelve people, therefore reservations are recommended.

Join a park naturalist on the steps of the Art Hall of the Koreshan State Park for a beginning photography tour of the different habitats and architecture within the park. Bring your camera or cell phone and learn the basics of photography, the best places to snap that perfect photo, discover unusual plants, buildings and critters that make up the many interesting aspects of Koreshan State Park.

Cost is $10/child for school year and includes membership in Dade Battlefield Society
Dade Pioneers is an after school program for ages 8-18. Each program consists of nature and history programs, crafts, games and food.
Marsh by Moonlight - Guided Kayaking @Tuesday, January 2, 2018 - 6:00pm to 8:00pm EST
$15 per person, plus state park admission.
Enjoy the serenity of the Savannas Basin Marsh by moonlight during these limited-edition tours. Cost is $15 per person donation to the Friends of Savannas, plus the state park admission fee ($2 a person, or $3 for a vehicle with up to 8 people). All equipment is included with your donation. Participants should dress for the weather and bring drinking water. Time of arrival will be different for each tour. Reservations required by calling the Savannas Preserve State Park Education Center at 772-398-2779. The Savannas is located at 2541 SE Walton Road, Port St Lucie.

Program is for registered campers only as it is after hours. Located at the campfire circle between sites 35 and 36. Will be inside the Nature Center if inclement weather.
