Paddle along South Creek and learn about the park and the estuarine critters. Please register between 8:00am and 8:45am at the Ranger Station. May bring own vessel or rent one from the Ranger Station. Some paddling experience recommended as it is a group tour.
Note: South Creek is a tidal water, therefore if water is too shallow for a paddle, a walk will be offered instead.

Join us for a guided exploration of MacArthur Beach State Park daily at 10:00 a.m. Meet in front of the Park's Nature Center.

Join Assistant Park Manager, Patrick, along with Park Ranger Jacob, as they lead visitors on a Guided Nature Walk through dune habitat. Learn of the many plant varieties which help support and protect the dunes. Parking will be available at the Beach Parking day use area. Picture taking is encouraged, so don't forget your camera!
The degree of difficulty for this event is "Moderate". Pets are not allowed on this event.

Come join us for cards and games and make some new friends. Various games are provided, but you are welcome to bring your own. Program is for registered campers only as it is after hours. Located in the Nature Center.

While the kids are out of school on winter break, come out to the park for a family-friendly film on the front lawn. Modest pajamas, flashlights, picnics and low lawn chairs are encouraged. All ages will enjoy the 1999 animated feature The Iron Giant—the story of a nine-year-old boy who befriends a giant robot from outer space that a paranoid government agent wants to destroy.
Purchase tickets at the gate. Sales begin at 6:00 p.m. and end at 7:15 p.m.
Film length: 1 hour 26 minutes. Rated PG.
Please park curbside or in a nearby lot. Visitors with a Disabled Person Parking Permit may call the Ranger Station for additional parking information.
