Learning about and purchasing native plants can be a daunting task, but it just got easier! The Coccoloba Chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society volunteers will be selling native plants at the Koreshan State Historic Site Farmers Market Sundays, 8:00am - 1 pm.  Experts will be on hand to help answer your questions and teach you about the wonderful benefits of adding native plants to your landscaping. On the first Sunday of every month join park staff for a tram tour of the longleaf pine forest. Learn about the park's land management practices and how we care for our natural resources. Wildlife sightings are common but not guaranteed. Possible fauna seen during this program include white-tailed deer, Gopher Tortoise, Sherman's fox squirrel, and wild turkey.

Along the way the tram will stop so participants can take a short guided walk on the swamp trail. A park ranger will lead visitors down the boardwalk to the Silver River. After the hike the tram will return to the main entrance.

Come visit our Junior Ranger table from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Learn how to become a Junior Ranger and join us for lots of cool nature activities! We will also be doing critter coloring pages and an Enviroscape water cycle demonstration throughout the day. These activities are welcome for all ages, however the Junior Ranger program is usually appropriate for children aged 6 and up. Participants can complete the Junior Ranger CORE activities, collect passport stamps, and earn an official Junior Ranger badge, patch, or pin!

No reservation required. Meet at the table under the right side of the Devil's Millhopper Visitor Center.

Marsh by Moonlight - Guided Kayaking @

Enjoy the serenity of the Savannas Basin Marsh by moonlight during these limited-edition tours. Cost is $15.00 per person donation to the Friends of Savannas, plus the State Park admission fee ($2.00 a person, or $3.00 for a vehicle with up to 8 people).
