Experience St. Lucie Inlet Preserve State Park by way of kayak. This is a unique opportunity to visit one of Florida's magnificent barrier islands. You will paddle through mangrove lined creeks and visit a pristine, undeveloped beach. Your guide will point out various plant and animal species, including some that are rare or endangered, as well as providing insight into the management activities used at the park. Visitors of all ages and skill levels are welcome. The tour is approximately 3 hours long.

What to bring: drinking water, snacks, sunscreen and bug repellent. No pets or alcoholic beverages are allowed.

Cost is $10/child for school year and includes membership in Dade Battlefield Society
Dade Pioneers is an after school program for ages 8-18. Each program consists of nature and history programs, crafts, games and food.

Everyone is invited to the park to help T.H.Stone Memorial St. Joseph Peninsula State Park in celebrating it's 50 year anniversary. Saturday September 6th entrance fees into the park will be waved for daily entrance. On September 6, 1967 the park opened it gates to the public to enjoy the splender that is St. Joseph Peninsula State Park. Come enjoy the natural unspoiled beauty of nature at it best, and help us celebrate this milestone in the park's history.

"By combining health-fitness with outdoor recreation, Eco Fitness appeals to those seeking to increase time spent exercising and connecting with nature. Through a strategically formulated exercise regimen, participants will see adaptation to their physical abilities as well as an increase in their love for the great outdoors.
Eco Fitness Classes incorporate Kayaking/Stand Up Paddleboarding, Mountain Biking, Swimming and Plyometrics over the course of 2 hours for the low price of $40.00 per class.
Classes are held the first 2 weeks of the month; Wednesday evenings, Friday and Saturday mornings."
