This two-part program is conducted by a Ranger or Volunteer.
Hike time: 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Bike time: 10:30 a.m. to noon.
The guide will take you on an informative walk along one of the six trails in the park. If you’re interested in taking your journey a step further, stay for the second portion of the program which includes a leisurely bike ride along the Green Trail and a portion of the Legacy Trail. The bike ride is about 12 miles round-trip. Participants must provide their own bikes; road and trail bikes are ok. Children under 16 years of age must wear a helmet while bicycling. Both portions of the program begin at the Nature Center. Remember to bring plenty of drinking water.

Join a music jam session with the park's favorite musical volunteer, Bill, or enjoy watching and listening to the musicians. Anyone with an instrument that would like to join in is welcome and encouraged. This family-friendly program is sure to be full of toe-stomping fun located outside the Nature Center (inside the Nature Center during bad weather). Audience members are welcome to bring snacks and non-alcoholic beverages.

The Tour is 2 hours long and $35.00 per Adult or $25.00 per College Student.
Have you ever gone Kayaking at night? Sunset Kayak/SUP Tours are available every Friday evening at the BG Oleta River Outdoor Center. We paddle for 1 hour before arriving at Sandspur Island where we will take a break and watch the sun go down. Once the sun has set, your Guide will turn on bright colorful lights located on the front and back of your Kayak or SUP before a 30 minute paddle back to the Outdoor Center.
Fitness Fridays: Group Bike Ride @ Little Manatee River State ParkFriday, January 13, 2017 - 5:00pm EST

Treat yourself to an hour for your health on Fitness Fridays! Bring your own bike and meet at the picnic area parking lot to join us for a group bike ride in the spectacular setting of the park.
Join us every Friday for one or all of the Fitness Friday programs including the Group Bike Ride, Zen-Stretching by the Lake, or a One Mile Run. All exercises are easy to moderately strenuous, and open to all ages. Following the fitness program, stick around to watch the sunset in the park.
Program location, directions, and other details will be posted at the Ranger Station on the afternoon of the program. Check for any updates upon entering the park.
Participants must provide their own bicycle. Participants under 16 years old must also bring and wear their own helmet. It is recommended that participants also bring water in a refillable container and insect repellant.
The riding course will take place on the paved park drive, covering a distance between 4-6 miles, with shorter and longer routes available. The course is wheelchair accessible to any persons who would like to participate in the ride using a wheelchair. For detailed accessibility information, please see the EEC Bike Ride. The Friends of Jonathan Dickinson State Park are hosting a floral exhibition in partnership with Martin County and Jupiter/Tequesta Orchid Societies, local artists, and Big Pine Nursery.
A reception will be held Friday, January 13 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. The weekend exhibition through Sunday, January 15 will include artwork and live flowers for sale. Artwork will remain in the Kimbell Center in the park through February 5.

The Jonnie Morgan Band
In 2015, The Jonnie Morgan Band had the opportunity to open for acts like Sammy Hagar, Better Than Ezra and Cheap Trick. They also headlined the Florida Music Festival twice and have played at festivals across the nation. Described as a jam band with a singer-songwriter twist, JMB is a must see this concert season.

Campers can vote for the movie of their choice at the Nature Center, where the movie viewing will take place. Welcome in 2017 with a guided walking tour of the Crystal River Archaeological State Park’s pre-Columbian ceremonial complex. A National Historic Landmark, this world-famous center on Florida’s west coast offers a monthly moon and torch lit tour of the site led by professional interpretive guides.
Travel back in time to experience the park under the full moon to catch a glimpse of what life was like living on the Crystal River from 1000 BC to AD 1000.
Reservations are not required, but recommended for larger groups.

Eco Fitness Classes incorporate Kayaking/Stand Up Paddleboarding, Mountain Biking, Swimming and Plyometrics over the course of 2 hours for the low price of $40.00 per class.
