What better way to start your day than with a hearty, home-cooked breakfast.  This winter family-friendly program is fully prepared by park Volunteers for both day-use visitors and campers.  The breakfast includes your choice of plain or blueberry pancakes with syrup (regular or sugar-free), sausage, and your choice of juice, coffee (regular or decaf), or tea.  A great way to meet other park guests.

December 22nd at 10:00a.m. Walk on the Nature Trails of Koreshan State Historic Site with a park naturalist. Lena some park history, history of the Estero river, and find out about plants and critters that we meet along the way. Walk will begin at the Koreshan State Historic Site picnic area near the kayak launch. NOTE: The walk will be approximately 1.8 miles. The trail is uneven, has sand, grass, and packed earth along the way. Bring water, hat, and camera for pictures. Reservations requested. Please call (239) 992-0311.

Paddle into the sunset by kayak on the scenic Silver River. Before it gets dark you will visit springs with names such as the Blue Grotto, the Garden of Eden, Fisherman's Paradise, and the Alligator Hole. On the way back to the launch, west along the river, the sun will be setting behind the headsprings.
