The Ocklawaha Odyssey will be a 4 night, 5 day paddling excursion that will launch at Silver Springs State Park. Paddlers can expect abundant wildlife and scenic views along the crystal clear waters of the 5 mile Silver River as they make their way to the tea-colored waters of the historic Ocklawaha River and paddle another 40 miles over the course of the trip. The last take out will be on Tuesday, December 6th at the Rodman Campground at the Rodman Reservoir.

Throughout the trip, dinner will be served at 6:00 p.m. each night, followed by an evening program at 7:00 p.m. Nightly entertainment ranges from regional musicians to educational speakers who will provide insights regarding the flora, fauna, history, and ecology of the area that the trip will be paddling through. Each morning, breakfast will be served at 7:30 a.m. and boats will be launched between 8:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.
