This program is facilitated by a local volunteer and focuses on the natural hisotry and cultural significance of many plants native to St. Andrews State Park and the northwest region of Florida. This program consists of a one-hour, 0.5 mile hike along the park's Gator Lake Trail, which meanders through a well-shaded maritime hammock that is situated on an ancient sand dune system.

Additional Information:

It is recommended that participants bring a camera, binoculars, sunscreen, insect repellant, and drinking water. Limited parking is available at the Gator Lake parking lot.  Additional parking is available at the gravel overflow parking lot, which is across from the Camp Store.

Kayak Tour @ Sebastian Inlet State Park

 Participants can bring their own kayak or reserve one from the Inlet Marina for a rental fee of $20.00/2-hours. For a single or double watercraft, life jacket(s) and paddles included.  Personal watercraft pay a launch fee of $3.00.

Come out and enjoy a Ranger-led kayak tour of the Indian River Lagoon.  For pricing information, on kayak rentals, please see the Inlet Marina Rental FEES. You may choose to use you own personal watercraft, but will be subject to a launch fee.  Meet at the Inlet Marina located 1 mile north of Sebastian Inlet, turn west at the large brown state park marina sign, follow the dirt road to Inlet Marina.  This program is weather dependent; please call the Inlet Marina 321-724-5424 for reservations, rentals and program status.
