Join a park naturalist for a talk on the butterflies of Lovers Key State Park. Topics will touch on differences between moths and butterflies, butterfly development, plants that support butterflies, netting techniques, tagging and more. Bring your camera to capture a picture of these beautiful creatures. Due to limited space, reservations are required.

The Department of Environmental Protection’s Alfred B. Maclay Gardens State Park would like to invite you to The Volunteer Brown Bag Luncheon. We love to see our volunteers and share lunch time with them. We will provide drinks and dessert. We use this time to get to know our volunteers better. If you are not a current volunteer and would like to be please join us for this monthly luncheon. We will meet at the Gardner's Cottage from noon to 1:00 p.m.

The Department of Environmental Protection's Alfred B Maclay Gardens State Park would like to invite you and your family out for a one of a kind hayride. Come enjoy a hayride down the majestic brick path of the gardens where you will get to view unique and creative scarecrows. We will briefly be stopping at each scarecrow so you can really enjoy the details and artwork. After the hayride participants will have the chance to vote for their favorite scarecrow to receive the People's Choice Award!
The last hayride will be at 6:45 p.m.

Join the Friends of Eden Gardens as they present the Third Annual Vintage Film Series at Eden Gardens State Park. Enjoy a beautiful evening under the stars watching "Hocus Pocus." A traditional " Halloween Ghost Story" turns into a real life adventure for 3 kids who break the spell of the Sanderson Sisters. Come dressed in Costume or as your favorite character from the movie and see what happens. Concessions for donations will be available. Movie is rated PG.
