Experience St. Lucie Inlet Preserve State Park by way of kayak.  This is a unique opportunity to visit one of Florida's magnificent barrier islands.  You will paddle through mangrove lined creeks, and the tour will visit a pristine, undeveloped beach.  Your guide will point out various plant and animal species, including some that are rare or endangered,  as well as providing insight into the management activities used at the park.  Visitors of all ages and skill levels are welcome.  Tour is approximately 3 hours long.

What to bring: drinking water, snacks, sunscreen and bug repellent.  No pets or alcoholic beverages are allowed.

The tidal salt marsh of our park is home to the Atlantic Blue Crab, a popular seafood and keystone species of the local ecosystem. Learn to catch these tasty crustaceans in a one hour hands-on program, appropriate for adults and families. This event is subject to cancellation due to weather conditions. We will be meeting at the Killdeer Pavilion, on the west side of the park.
