The Florida challenge is back once again. On September 25th racers will embark on the parks existing mountain bike trails. Gates will open at 7am for registration. All bike trails will be closed to the general public on that day.

Join the fun at T.H. Stone Memorial Saint Joseph Peninsula State Park's annual Park Appreciation Day event. We will have live music, food and drinks. There will be booths and displays from several state, federal and private organizations. Boat rides in St. Joe Bay along with other family activities will be provided. Come and celebrate one of the most beautiful parks in the Florida Park Service, St. Joseph Peninsula State Park.

Take part in a park ranger program, which occurs every Sunday. Topics vary, with each program offering an opportunity to learn something new about Silver Springs State Park and Florida’s unique environment.

Old Time Dance @ The Barnacle Historic State ParkSunday, September 25, 2016 - 6:30pm to 10:00pm EDT

Swing your partner, do-si-do, and promenade down to The Barnacle for an outdoor contra dance held under a covered pavilion by Biscayne Bay! These fun and friendly group dances are open to everyone and include a caller and a live acoustic band. The gates open at 6:00 p.m. Pre-dance instruction begins at 6:30, and dancing starts at 7:00 p.m. Picnics are welcome and snacks to share are encouraged.
