The entry fee cost for the Summer Sunrise Series is $40. Participants may run races individually at a cost of $15 per race. Fees increase race day to $15 or $60 for the series. Please see Additional Information for awards information and participation requirements.

Highlands Hammock is off and running! Running enthusiasts may join the Central Florida Striders in the 3rd Annual Summer Sunrise 5K Series. The series of four races is set to begin Saturday morning, June 4, 2016. The remaining three races are scheduled for June 25, July 9, and July 30. The start time for all races is 7:00 a.m.
Series awards will be based on the top three cumulative times for all four races. There will be no awards or shirts for individual races. The tours are free with park entry and for annual pass holders. Park entry fees are $5.00 per vehicle for 2 - 8 people, $4.00 for single occupant vehicles, and $2.00 for pedestrians and bicyclists.
Ravine Gardens State Park is excited to bring back the famous Ranger led Wagon Tours on Saturday, July 30th!
Take a family-friendly wagon tour guided by knowledgeable park rangers around the beautiful ravine at Ravine Gardens State Park. Learn about the history of the ravine and the park, as well as the plants, animals, and the ecosystems which make Ravine Gardens a diverse place to visit.
There will be two tours, departing at 10:00 a.m., and 11:00 a.m. Tours last approximately 30 minutes and will start from the front of the Roy E. Campbell Civic Center.
Each tour is limited to 20 participants.

This weekly program features different arts and craft opportunities for kids. A Volunteer will be on-hand in the Nature Center to instruct and provide the materials but parents are asked to remain with their child throughout the program; parents are welcome to participate as well. Supplies and seating is limited, so participation is on a first-come, first-served basis.

All concerts are $25.00 plus taxes and fees for general admission. Tickets are $40.00 for V.I.P. and include a chair as well as a meet & greet with the musicians before the show.

Bring a chair or blanket and enjoy a music-filled evening in a beautiful park setting. Performances will use the newly renovated Twin Oaks Mansion Stage at the headwaters of the Silver River.

Please note: The main entrance of the park will CLOSE at 5:00 p.m. and re-open at 7:00 p.m. All visitors must leave and re-enter. The camping & museum entrance will remain open until the regular park closing time of 8:30 p.m. for visitors who wish to use the trails or picnic area.

Join the Northwest Florida Astronomy Association for Topsail Under the Stars. Come to Topsail Hill Preserve State Park and visit with local astronomers to learn about the stars and constellations above Topsail Hill Preserve State Park.
Guests must arrive before 7:00 pm and check in at the Ranger Station to receive directions to the location of the event.
Ranger Guided Sea Turtle Walk @ Sebastian Inlet State ParkSaturday, July 30, 2016 - 9:00pm to 11:45pm EDT

Learn about Florida's endangered sea turtles and then take a nighttime walk on the beach to witness a mother loggerhead sea turtle lay her eggs in the warm beach sands of Sebastian Inlet State Park.
A maximum of 6 reservations can be made per family. There are no group reservations. The program beach is an isolated area; once the beachwalk portion begins, individuals within the group are committed to stay together until the end of the program.
NO flash photography, flashlights or cell phone lights are allowed on the beach. There are no water or restroom facilities once on the beach.
Wear comfortable walking shoes or sneakers. Bring insect repellent. Wear dark-colored long pants and long sleeves if you are not tolerant of mosquitoes and no-see-ums.
This program may require an up-to three-mile walk on the beach.
Sebastian Inlet State Park will start taking sea turtle walk reservations on May 15, at 10:30 a.m. for June’s Turtle Walk programs. Reservations can be made between 10:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
Participants with reservations will meet on their scheduled night at the Sebastian Inlet Fishing Museum, 14251 North Highway A1A, Vero Beach, FL 32963. The program starts promptly at 9 pm.
