Park entry fee is $3.00 per car, which is the only fee necessary to attend the ice cream event. If you would like to take an historic house tour, it is $3.00 per adult, $2.00 per child (6-12 years.) Cash or check only. Hour tour times are 10AM, 11AM, 1PM, 2PM, 3PM, and 4PM.

Join us as we demonstrate and taste Marjorie Rawlings' recipe for ice cream! Staff, volunteers, and visitors will be hand cranking & churning this welcome treat on a hot summer's day. Rawlings liked to make this for herself and her friends, but of course the entire batch had to be eaten before it melted, so we will do so too!
It is anticipated that the ice cream will be ready for consumption at 11AM and again at 3PM. To participate in the hand cranking, come approximately 30-60 minutes prior to these times.
Kids Club @ Topsail Hill Preserve State ParkThursday, July 14, 2016 - 10:00am to 11:30am CDT
Standard entrance/admission fees for will apply for day use visitors. For campers that are staying here at Topsail there is no fee. There is no additional program participation fee. Donations to the Citizen Support Organization, Friends of Topsail Hill Preserve State Park to help defray the cost of consumable supplies are appreciated and accepted.

Make learning fun for the children that are visiting the park by participating in a variety of environmental, educational arts and crafts projects and games. Some of the craft projects will include the use of hot glue guns. Children will learn about wildlife, park history, beach, bike safety and other topics... Children under 8 years of age must be accompanied by a parent. The program has a maximum capacity of 25, sign up at the Camp Store. The program will take place inside the Clubhouse.

The Department of Environmental Protection’s Alfred B. Maclay Gardens State Park would like to invite you to The Volunteer Brown Bag Luncheon. We love to see our volunteers and share lunch time with them. We will provide drinks and dessert. We use this time to get to know our volunteers better. If you are not a current volunteer and would like to be please join us for this monthly luncheon. We will meet at the Gardner's Cottage from noon to 1:00 p.m.
