Join us for our Annual USATF certified 5K (3.1 mile) Race. Participants will run/walk along a tree lined, paved out and back course through Lake Louisa State Park where "wildlife always has the right of way."

Highlights of Race - Finisher medal, colorful event shirt, USATF certified and well monitored course, native plant giveaway and more.

Registering by May 1, 2016 ensures proper t-shirt size. Awards for top overall finishers and the top finisher in each of the 5 year age division, male and female.

All proceeds benefit the Friends of Lake Louisa State Park, Inc. a non-profit 501C3 that supports Lake Louisa State Park through public outreach, special events and fundraisers.

Join us for a leisurely 2.5 mile round trip paddle down the Loxahatchee River. We begin at the kayak launch located at the Park Concession store. From there we paddle to Kitching Creek and explore a bit.

Be prepared to paddle 2.5 miles, sometimes against the current. Wear clothing appropriate for outdoor activities (sunscreen and clothing that protects against the sun is recommended). Make sure to bring water with you.

Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings Tenant House Open House @ Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings Historic State Park

Park entry fee is $3 per car.  This will allow access to the tenant house located across the farmyard from the main house.  If a Rawlings' main house tour is desired, it will be an additional $3 per adult/$2 per child (6-12yrs).  Cash or check only.  Rawlings' main house tour times are 10AM, 11AM, 1PM, 2PM, 3PM and 4PM.
