As you meander down the trail to the cow camp, you will travel back in time to 1876.
At the end of the trail you will find a Florida Cow Hunter in a frontier camp along the route of a cattle drive. He will be cooking, making coffee, tending to the cattle or just resting up until the next round up or drive. The cow hunter will be happy to share stories about what his life is like and the challenges he faces.
Available upon request for groups of 15 or more.
Guided Bike Tour @ Jonathan Dickinson State ParkSunday, May 1, 2016 - 10:00am to 12:00pm EDT

Join staff along paved trails and roads, learning about the park's unique natural and cultural history. The tour is approximately 2 hours long and may be too long or vigorous for young children or persons who are not able to handle cycling about 5-6 miles.

Pine Needle Basket Class @ Dade Battlefield Historic State ParkSunday, May 1, 2016 - 2:00pm to 5:00pm EDT
$3/vehicle park entrance fee, $2 bicyclist or walk-in, activity fee $5/person, 12 and under free.
Participants will make a pine needle basket with all materials provided. Pre-registration is required as class size is limited to 10 people.
